An father who fatally assaulted his two-week-old baby son on a special care ward has been sentenced to life with a lowest term of two decades.
The court heard the newborn suffered devastating harm, including a broken head, fractured spinal column, shattered mandible and broken legs.
Clinical specialists described the harm as "comparable to a fall from a tall structure".
The father had refuted harming the infant but was judged guilty of killing by the jury.
